Rassule Hadidi

Rassule Hadidi, Ph.D., is currently Dean of the College of Management at Metropolitan State University. Prior to joining Metropolitan State University, he held the position of Professor and Head, Department of Management Information Systems, at University of Illinois – Springfield, Illinois (UIS).

He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) sponsored post-doctoral studies at Indiana University.

His current research areas of interest include health care informatics, quality of health care data, business process management, online and blended teaching and learning pedagogy and its comparison with face-to-face teaching; and MIS curriculum development and quality assessment.

He has published more than 55 peer-reviewed articles in professional journals and in international, national, and regional conference proceedings and has made more than 75 presentations at various regional, national, and international professional conferences. He is the First Hanson Professional Services Faculty Scholar; recipient of the 2016 UIS Faculty Excellence Award; served as the President and At-Large Director of the Midwest United States Association for Information Systems and is the founding and currently serving as the Managing Editor of the Journal of the Midwest Association for Information Systems.

Dr. Hadidi championed the establishment of the UIS SAM Chapter and was involved in the selection of the Case Competition Team who received the 2018 First Place Trophy.
