Allen Frazier

Past-President

Dr. Allen Frazier was the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) faculty sponsor for the Harding University chapter for 15-years. He then assisted with the case competition and was appointed to the SAM Board of Directors in 2015 and served as President in 2018, he currently serves on the Board as the Past-President.

Prior to returning to Harding University (2001), his alma mater, Dr. Frazier worked 18-years for several financial service organizations. His last job, prior to Harding University, was Senior Vice President and Senior Loan Officer for The American National Bank of Beaver Dam, WI. While working in Wisconsin, Frazier also served as a vocational minister for 11-years. Dr. Frazier has served as Chair of the Management Department, Associate Dean, and now is the Dean of the Carter College of Business.

He teaches Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurial Management, Human Resources Management, Commercial Banking and directs the College of Business Leadership Seminar. He was a long-standing faculty sponsor for the Reynolds Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition.

In 2005 Dr. Frazier was named COBA’s Outstanding Faculty of the Year and also received the Harding University Teacher Achievement Award in 2009. In 2014, he was given the Sam Walls Entrepreneurial Educator Award.

He is a Wisconsin native (yes, an authentic “cheese head”) and loves the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers! He sings (was in several musicals in community theatre in Wisconsin), plays the guitar, and enjoys reading. Dr. Frazier has been married for 36 years and has four children – Shawn, Cameron, Melanie and Chelsea.
