2011 COLLEGIATE CASE COMPETITION

Since its inception in 1981, the Collegiate Case Competition has served as the foundation of the Society for Advancement of Management’s student competition experience, challenging teams to analyze complex business problems and present practical, well-supported solutions. Over time, the competition was organized into three divisions: the Joseph Bush Jr. Undergraduate Division, the James Rutherford Undergraduate Division, and the Thomas Greensmith Open Division. Within each division, competitors were expected to demonstrate strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to defend their recommendations in a live, professional setting, reflecting the real-world demands of management decision-making.
