Latha Poonamallee

Dr. Latha Poonamallee is Associate Professor and Chair of Management and Social Innovation at the New School. She has published and presented her award-winning research on change, innovation, and leadership in a variety of journals and international conferences. She is currently working on two key projects: Harnessing technology innovation to solve social and environmental problems (under contract with Palgrave Macmillan) and Mindfulness and Contemplative Approaches to Social Justice and Inclusive Leadership (The New School Inaugural Faculty Fellow). She is also a co-founder of In-Med Prognostics, a neurosciences-AI startup bringing brain health prognostics to emerging markets.

She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.

Grounded in social justice and commitment to inclusion and equity, the New School management programs go beyond the business school and train students to have a positive impact on the world by helping create, nurture and foster the complex organizations we inhabit become more humane, inclusive, just, equitable, sustainable, and prosperous.
