CALL FOR SPECIAL ISSUE PROPOSALS

SAM Advanced Management Journal, one of the oldest journals in the field, publishes peer-reviewed publications that elevate and advance the practice of management and particularly welcomes translational work, converting theoretical insights into practical, actionable knowledge for management practitioners.

The SAM AMJ editorial team is currently seeking proposals for special issues. Special issues provide an opportunity to create a conversation that coalesces around a topic that is relevant, timely, under-addressed or can benefit from a revisit.

Proposals should be no longer than 5 pages (excluding the CVs of proposers) and must contain the following:

Proposed title

  • Need and motivation for the special issue and the aim of the special issue.

  • List of potential questions and topics of interest relevant to the special issue.

  • A proposed timeline for the issue: call, the deadline for submission, notification to authors, first revision due date, and the proposed publication date, etc.

  • Pipeline for submissions: how do the guest editors (s) plan to seek and solicit submissions including conferences, special issue author workshops.

  • Proposed editors’ details.

  • A list of scholars who may be interested in submitting or acting as potential reviewers for the special issue.

  • Proposed editors’ CV as attachments.
